I havn't read the whole thread, I stopped when it became obvious that people were criticizing VJ for putting excessive speakers in his car.

This is a car audio forum, where most (granted, not all) people come to talk about the "excessive" bass people put in their car. There are people here with subs that hit hard enough to make your head spin, and thats fine. But you dont see people replying with "I just dont see the point of having all that in you car"
Who gives a shit if you dont see the point? It's really pathetic and hypocritical of a lot of people on this forum to criticize a system that has a lot of time, money, and energy just because it's different than most systems posted on here.
People just need to relax and realize that this forum is not like a "proving" ground where you submit your system and hope the judges will allow it. He's providing pics and vids of his setup because he wants people to see what he has, call it a car show anyone can go to.
When you guys go to meets, and one guy has something that you dont really like, do you go up to him and say "hey man your shit sucks why would you do something like that?!"
No, of course you don't. Because that guy didn't bring his system for you. There are plenty of threads that I see that I don't really like the direction people are going in, sometimes I reply with constructive criticism, but I don't attack people for what they do to their car.
I've seen way, way, worse systems posted on this thread, and none of them have gotten the attention this has.
This system may not be for everyone, but it's got a lot of money invested in it, and just because he went a different direction than half the assholes who get 4 18" and stock comps, doesn't mean it's okay to bash his threads whenever he posts them.
just remember that the majority of time, for many people, when it comes to car audio, more is better.

always been a fan of doing more with less equipment...but to each their own. If you want to put 41 speakers, a popcorn maker, and a coffee machine in your ride, go ahead...just make sure it looks decent.
i always wanted a soft serve ice cream machine in my car but i figured i could just buy an ice cream truck then.

no way anyone could get that loud with less. i dont get how you guys keep saying that. no set of components or horns will get that loud ever. period.

it's called imaging. it's a beatiful thing. you are bound to get a lot of cancellation. you can't just throw horns anywhere. it takes a lot to image them right, hence i never done it before
