I was amazed at the loudness/clarity. However, I think if there was bass involved it wouldn't sound so loud/clear from far away.

It has a limited frequency range, the lens determines dispersion, and stupid to have unless you're doing PA.

this is why we also get these new noise laws and have to read about kids who can't handle it cause someone has to have a traveling air raid siren.
How come it sounds decent from far away and as you go closer it sounds worse, not just loud but less quality? Or is that a characteristic of PA drivers, and thus, why the hate for putting them in a car. Inside the car will sound horrible but to folks 5 blocks away, it doesn't sound bad.
I would want to see it play more complex music.
ever notice how a huge *** tv looks like crap up close but from far away they look great? same concept. they are for large areas and not the acoustics of a car.

i would just get one and mount it underneath the car.....
and i would only turn it on @ events and such to attract attention. lol
and the second use for it would be to annoy the people across the street.
these Puerto Rican people across the street always BLAST their Spanish music loud as hell on their stock systems when they are outside washing their car(s) and IT IS SOOOO ANNOYING. plus they wash their cars relatively early in the day so sometimes they wake me up. a couple times i want to go out there yelling at em but they wont heer me over the music.
Well, I would just use my horn to shut them up with some JEEZY!
