i just found this post.

i personally know the boss for formulaX.

he is best budds with the owner of zenon and he uses good parts in his amps.

yes his amps all use zenon boards, but he changed a bunch of stuff inside.

anyway,

You can add Sundown and Incriminator Audio to the Zenon list
Cactus Sound - changed buildhouses (same as Soundstream now)

Adassa - changed buildhouses

American Bass - Digital Designs - SPL Dynamic - Zapco's dB Burn - All same build house in South Korea BUT, not Zenon

Well my only reason behind it is that it would allow me to know if an amp is good or not and i would be able to search for the cheapest price without worrying about poor quality. But i guess im wanting to know what main things to look for in an amp. I mean i know THD, efficiency, xovers, filters, doing rated power, and having a comapny with good customer service but are there any other things that would help me narrow down and eliminate some amps that may have the same boards? Thanks

You need to test them to find out. Many of the boards floating around out there look good and test well on a machine... but don't perform on a real load.
