Sounds interesting. I was gonna play, "how low can you go" with ohm loads down to .25

Hookup the amps to some dummy load resistors and do the sine wave torture test,

get an estimate of what the power is and how long it takes the amp to go into

thermal protect.

Sorry, I dont have any dummy loads, But I do have a boat load of speakers to mess with. I may fool around with it next time im bored and its raining like hell here. I think I can muster up 16 - 4 ohm drivers to make a .25 load.

Yes Zapco made a few diffrent types of Z100 amps. Some have rca inputs, some have Symbilink only inputs. The newer ones are black.

My only problem with the video is you didnt state what it was for and what you were wanting to accomplish.

On top of that you cant tell any differences due to the crappy camera mic.

yes, It is realy a random pointless video. There was no objective. It was Raining, I was bored. If I wanted to do a real comparision, I would use an O-scope with load resistors . And that Optimus would not keep up with the Zapco when pushed hard. But in fairness. they did sound similar at a 4 ohm load. Camera mic, as you pointed out would not pick up those subtle diffrences.
