Zapco: Balanced differential inputs?

Have a new ST-X 5 and can't find anything that says it can accept balanced differential inputs. Old Zapco amps did and they may still be doing this for noise.

Anyone know for sure? Been trying to get ahold of Zapco for a week and starting to feel uneasy about the company [emoji20] .

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am pretty sure that Zapco does NOT accept balanced differential inputs on their current line of amps, not even the Z series. I do not know why. I've been looking into the Symbilink line of amps as of late and cannot find that on their current line. You are out of luck with the ST-5X, in that regard. If you want balanced differential inputs, you are going to have to look at the older line of Zapco amps, like the Reference or DC line of amps.

Your best bet at contacting Zapco is contacting their US distributor, Atrend USA, by telephone. That number is listed on the Zapco website.

Thank you!

I've submitted the question twice on Zapco's website, once on their Facebook page and once through Facebook messenger with no replies. Additionally, I've found 3 numbers for them that are all disconnected.

The number for Atrend USA is 1-888-734-6333. I've actually talked with them and they have actually called me back when I could not reach the person I needed to talk to.
Awesome - thanks for that and I'll call them.

Called and talked with Keith for quite a while. Love a company that will talk your ear off ?.

Amp won't accept balanced differential but I still learned some in the conversation.

Appreciate the number!

I am glad you were able to get a hold of someone over there. It's not Zapco. It's their distributor. But, they seem to know their Zapco stuff. And, yeah, if you want balanced differential inputs you are going to have to get one of their older amps. If you like old school head units, you can try and pick up an Eclipse CD8053 with the optional Balanced Line Adapter. I believe that will give you 10 volts of preamp voltage. Combined with its 55 ohm line-out impedance give a pretty noise-free signal.
