Powerbass asa1200.2 vs Kicker kx800.2

What's up all, first post. I got me 2 SA E series 15's D4 I put my old school kicker kx800.2 bridges mode and set the gains via dmm, couple days later when messing with the settings it had a smell the amp had a lil smoke so I opened it n it was the hot glue smell from the inside n it's no longer playing at it's set volume it cuts off. I ordered a powerbass asa 1200.2 n set it via dmm same settings as kicker when I cranked the car n turned it up same way as I did the kicker amp I was like WTF?! How does the kicker 800 with 3x40 fuses put out deeper fuller bass than a brand new powerbass asa1200 with 4x40 fuses? Is powerbass a bullshit amp?

Yup I had that powerbass amp and sold it like two weeks later. Was not impressed at all... you should have got a cab 1600.1 if your running some woofers.

**** it I was looking forward to this amp waiting like a kid on santa for the ups man yesterday. How about the Rockford fosgate 1000.2 power series amp for $298 which is double the price of the powerbass 1200.2

Yea I just seen it on caraudiobargain.com, can u tell me anything about the soundstream pn4.1000d for $120? I can bridge it to give subs 500w each, I currently have a pn4.520d on mids n highs n it does rated.
