Zapco, Audison, US Amps, McIntosh

I've got a pair of US Amps USA-200X bridged on a set of Dynaudio System 360 components. I'm thinking about changing out amps to either a single Zapco C2K6.0, an Audison LRX 2.500 or Audison VEx 2.400.2, or a McIntosh MCC302

Does anyone have any good/bad comments on the Zapco, Audison, or McIntosh amps? Which would you prefer? Basically I want the best sound, and staging possible.

I'm sure you know this, but the placement of the speakers will help infinitely more than the amp you choose when it comes to the soundstage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

We're a Zapco, USAmps, and Audison dealer. I prefer the Audison VRx over the three.

Yeah, I know placement is key...but amp quality also has its advantages. I've got the midrange and tweeter in the kick panels and the midbass in the doors.

JimJ, is very right. i dont think your going to notice any SQ difference from changing the amp.

BTW , i vote for ZAPCO. this is the first time that ive heard Audison amps. i got to look in to it.

PS: this Audison amps are soo saxy, WOW

hmmmnnnn. nope.

I know Emilios at Dynaudio USA has a ARC Signature SE4200 pushing the newest released Dynaudios in his personal car...

To the poster, IMO a McIntosh (any Mac) is a collectors piece. It is the benchmark.

And if it was within reach, I'd buy it over the ones mentioned-period.

On another note, comparing high end amps from a performance standpoint its too much of an apples vs apples comparsion. In which case comes down to budget, footprint, and getting the most power for your dollar.
