Zapco amp power problem

I hooked up my zapco 9.0 to 2 10 idmax and everything is plugged in and no power light or even a protection light. I have 2 batteries for my system and didn't install everything in yet just the 9.0 to have some bass in the car. I check the power and ground in and it does get a Constance 14v but when I have the remote plugged into the amp I only get like 8.5v to 7.2v I don't know what's going on and don't know what to do and also is the switched 12v out on the 9.0 for another remote for another amp? Or is there something else with that for me to do with?
