yes the 15" should be louder but in the right enclosure the 12" could really shine, right? getting board of the kove, thinking about something different. dont get me wrong this 15" get loud with my o.s.

soundstream rubicon 1002. so the mtx would get the same.

You are looking at an efficient 15 (well suited for SPL applications) vs. a not-so-efficient 12 (not-so-well suited for SPL applications). I would anticipate a significant drop in output... but I could be wrong, too.

thats what im thinking. how much power you think it would take two mtx 9500 12" subs to get loud. just a quess. i know there is alot of factors.
