I got to hold one of theese at a local car stereo shop today, just came in.

it has five 40@ fuzes in it - so it has power handling capability, just not shure how much it

will realley do. - and or if it will sound like total doo doo at that much power.

yes I know its probly verry over rated, but I like its small foot print.

I have a hifonics bxi 1206d at the moment, with a kenetic 800

and good wiring, along with yellow top and 120@ alt.

so voltage stays above 13. - im probly feeding my re sx 18 about a thousand rms

and it definately wants more power. just looking for cheep power basicly.

just any imput on the above linked amp would be nice.

even if its to say stay away, its right next to boss and pyramid.

or if you have any recomendations of what amp is good for $250

pushing 1800w rms or better, please lmk, and where to purchace from if possible.

re sx 18 is dual 2.

dont get me wrong, the little hifonics ive got it on gives it nice sound up to a point,

but I want more. I feel like the sx is capable of taking over 1800w with caution.

or it might be fun to blow it up. what ever comes.

the cycle continues - only my dam car is soo small.

have got 9 speakers in a 2 seater / small hatch.

its crazy for what it is.

IMO, which I deal with power acoustik alot cuz my cuzin is a dealer for them and many other brands, I'd say go with the GOTHIC series instead of a BAMF, the gothic provides more bang IMO, never benched one but at least 2500 from the gothic, one guy said he thought it was givin around 3k, but im leanin on the safe side saying 2500, on the BAMF i'd say around 2k like CJ said. PM and ill see if we can get a cheaper deal goin.
