Does it only light up in blue? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
the dude above is showing it in white and blue...id say it does more colors too but idk, im interested as well

Ya I just figured that out :|
Has anybody swapped out surface-mount LEDs for different colors?
no... what color would you want to change it to anyway?

if you fu@k up im sure pioneer would throw your warrenty away and you would end up with a dead $350 hu

unless you know what your doing i wouldnt recommend swapping out leds

Nice HU. It looks great, but I haven't heard too much about the sound quality of it. Is everyone pleased? I want a great sounding deck with an all business appearance. This appears to be it.

Take 2 seconds and search, and you will find pages and pages of information. Its only the most talked about deck on this forum as of now.

It would be nice to have amber LEDs instead of blue. I've mentioned on other posts how much I hate blue LEDs. Not because they're blue per se, but because it's hard to match a blue deck to a lot of factory lighting.

I'm not quite ready to gut a brand-new deck and replace LEDs. At least not surface-mount units. Through-hole standard LEDs are another story //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I wish the output voltage was higher.
how much more are you looking for? ive heard anything over 5V doesnt make much of a difference anyway

you just described the 880... if you arent into flashy decks with color screens and all that and this is what you'd be looking for

a HU that gives out incrediable SQ for it's price with the classy/vip style look

just type in pioneer 880 in the search function and read away

Thanks for the quick response. It's appearance reminds me of old HU's. I loved the old stuff. It's hard to find a good performing deck these days. There are flashy units on the market, but they sound like ***.
