Your Opinion of Ideal Kicker Setup

Wanting a nice decent setup because i'm going to be getting a steal on kicker merchandise and i want to try something fun maybe even a couple cvr 8's or a few 10's. Kicker has Alot of different subs so I can't decide.

Note: trying to save trunk space so nothing over 12's

amp: 1500w

Four CVX's and two of those amps??? lol

Two CVX's are your best bet bro, especially if trying to save a little room.

4 12cvr's do really good off that amp.

With that power I would do (2) 12'' cvx's, I'm sure that would get plenty loud. (3) 8'' L7's would be fun to have as well.

i agree 2 cvx's and 2 750.1's would sound pretty **** good!

dont know what kind of car you have but in my cavy w/ 1 CVX 12 it hits 141+ on 750 watts

Serious? seems like everyone likes the cvx's

Whats the difference CVX vs L7 ?

I know they're close rated power wise but what about sound quality / output

I'm pretty sure they use the same motor, at least it's very close. I've read about the CVX's sounding better, I don't know for sure so don't quote me on that one..

The L7 will probably get louder, because it has the advantage in cone area. As far as I know the CVX is just a round L7, but that was the old models.

I've ran both the L7 and the cvx in the past. I felt the cvx was a cleaner sounding sub compared to the L7. Both can get plenty loud with the right box and power. The CVX takes around 1200 watts no problem.

2 L7s will be louder but youd need about 6 cubes. the CVX uses the old L7 motor but its still plenty. if your amp does rated power, get 2 CVXs tuned at 32-34 hz for good results.
