Loved the new MAG, once I get my set up better laid out the RL-p too, different sound though,

 

also liked IDQ's of past and sealed Brahmas from time to time, loved a focal I heard at a few SQ shows,

 

in the right box, Eclipse Aluminums

 

 

would really like to try the soon to come out TC LMS-4100

if ur talking about pure SQ(not SQL) I'd go for IDQs.

I have to say IDMAX, i finaly heard that sub in a friends car, and i loved the bass it makes. he had the Sub , IB the SQ was great.

I plan to get me a IDMAX

IB idw 15's and 18's were awesome. no extra "noises" and VERY snappy and would rattle your guts out when needed. idmax and idq set up in IB are pretty good too. very accurate. as far as a boxxed sealed sub it comes down to a handful of drivers which still includes the idq, oz 300L and 12w6v2

The mag hands down.... sound tight and accurate.

dave, you ever heard RL-p's? that what i currently run in my cutty..just sold the pair tho. got 2 12" '05 XXX's and 3000watts so the rl-ps had to go.

i was told at finals by someone at usac/iasca finals if i ever wanted another set just ask and have the money ready. they arent for someone with a small car. my 15's were in over 11cft. which acted near ib. check ebay every now and then u might find a set.

yup i heard squeaks and i believe that one sound splinter test driver too was brought down. to use it as i would i wouldnt need it to be that long of a throw (i like my music very linear meaning the sub fits in with my mids and highs) you start blairing away with them sealed they can get rather mechanical sounding... thats why i say if you do the big boy subs get horns lol. the older xxx was the same way im sure it could sound great but everyone i heard was set to rip the doors off and they get real blurry doing it. my definition of loud is if you are heard for blocks makes sure they can hear lyrics too lol

my old firebird was one of the original id cars in 94 it took 2nd at usac and iasca finals (was ron burdens car then though) it now has 8 12" memphis m3 subs no backseat and a bunch of 8" memphis sync 8's in it now
