going from drinking all light lagers to guinness isn't a good idea, you probably won't like it. gotta work your way up to the porters and stouts. I'd start with real lagers. like sam adams, killians, etcI've never had Guinness Draught before but after this thread I want to try it. I'm a Bud/miller fan though on a normal basis.
then work up to ales, then IPAs, IPA is the most bitter beer style. once you ca handle that porters and stouts are easy... they arnt bitter like the IPA style but they are heavy and taste like coffe, roasted nuts and sometimes chocolate. guinness is also a little low in the carbonation department... I recommend mackeson XXX stout instead
