id turn that sub-sonic filter off and let all the crap come through...and why does a non-strappable amp have a master/slave switch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
ill try that as soon as im done redesigning the box.

im using the same box, just swtiching the port to the driver side n the subs all to the passenger side.

so it will only be 2 pieces of MDF (wich i have enuff to spare for those 2 cuts) and i wont have to worry bout going broke on building another box.

o and i always wondered the same thing

i called up Orion and asked them aswell. i said it tells u not to strap the amps but y does it have a master n slave switch??

seems like its just like the viper 2500.1....it has a master/slave switch. its for 'synching' the gains on the amps so they are both exactly the same. put the master on master, and the other on slave....with 1 rca wire connecting the 2 and the gains will be synched on both amps.

Been working on mi amigos Shadow for a couple of months. He finally took a day off and spent a couple of hours on the sensor at the local shop (since I sold mine months ago).

Vehicle: 93 Dodge Shadow

Electrical System: 200 amp alt; (4) Blue Tops; 4/Ott wire throughout

Amplifier(s): (2) RF T3's

Subwoofer(s): (2) 18" Shocker Sigs

Box: 24ft^3 wall, ported ~38hz w/~280sq in port

Mic: TL.Net

Song/Tone Played: many, peaking ~46hz

db Result: 156.8db (on the dash)

Duct taped, resined, foamed, and deadening spread about strategically.

Sadly, he's prolly missed too many shows to make it to Drag finals. He'd get smoked anyhow. 160 in SM1-2 still > 156. But Pat's happy with his daily driver.

2 more t3's and some tuning and he's somewhat of a contender. Not a poor score at all.

oh i agree... but it's not my wallet to make that decision, lol.

He called me earlier today to give me the basic rundown, when he was done I told him that "IF we can keep that same score off of (1) batt, he would be in the top 10. if we could get two more T3's in there and get them to work off of (1) batt, he'd prolly be in the top 5."

To which, I was told "maybe over the winter" LoL

Can't blame him, it's a kick *** daily driver right now, why chase the trophy for an additional $2k or so...?

Thanks tho, put a good bit of work into it.

Vehicle: '90 s-10 regular cab

Electrical System: 200 amp alt, everstart MAXX, lots of 1/0 wire

Amplifier(s): 2 eD nine.1's strapped at 1 ohm (.5 ohm a piece): A TESTED 550 ACTUAL watts out of the PAIR!!

Subwoofer(s): 1 10" type-r

Box: 2 cubes, aeroports

Mic: TL, MECA style, dash-door closed, dash-door open

Song/Tone Played: 43/44 hz

db Result:

kick: 149.3

dash-door closed: 145.0

dash-door opened: 148.4

As you can see, my truck doesn't really hate the dash vs. the kick, but it REALLY hates being sealed up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
