Denon HU, tape deck with aux input... very nice unit, SQ was as good as could be expected for tape decks, internal amp was a powerful 45x4 which was un heard of

back then.

kenwood 12 band eq - constantly messed with it

rockford punch 40... teh awesome

2x kicker 8's in a kicker sealed box with bass reflex radiators - hit pretty decent,

handled the low notes with precision, wasn't too loud but sounded pretty good

optimus (pioneer) 4.5 coaxils up front and 6x8's for the rear - the old ratshack

kenwood 4 channel amp for coaxils... can't remember too much about it

My very first setup was a removable kenwood tape deck, fed to a 1/2 DIN Kenwood EQ, 2X Punch45HD, 1X Punch150HD, Infinity 5.25 and 6X9 coaxs, and then 2X 12" MTX Blue Thunder subs in a monstrous ported enclosure. Not the silver blue thunders either. These were the paper pulp blue cones.
