ya it is 1.5 a peice, well there in a s10 so i dont have anymore room really!! i did it to SI specs.

have you heard a 15" L7? they are pretty loud. i am not saying either one of you is right, but i wouldn't be completely shocked. btw, i haven't heard mags so i could just be talking out of my ***

I have heard both subs in ported enclosures before and both in compact cars. I know it isn't a direct comparison but it is as close as I am going to get.

I probably also have a biased opinion, but to me the mag seemed to have more output and as far as SQ goes there is no point in even comparing them. The L7 got pretty **** loud, but it sounded terrible. (it could have been the setup). The mag not only felt and sounded louder to me, but it also sounded like music when it played. SQ was much better with the mag.

Feel free to let me know what some of you guys think though that have heard both. I can't really base it off the few L7 installs I have worked with, but from what I noticed I thought that mag 12 output was comparable if not a little better to one L7, and the SQ was much better.

But 2 mag 12's in proper enclosures, compared to 1 L7 in a proper enclosure, and the mags will be louder from my experiance.

There can be many diffrent reasons why one set-up sounded better than the other. Main reason, the install. #2 what amp was pushing the L7 and the 2 sigs? #3 what kind of car the systems are in.
