Again, government does a lot more than provide firefighters and policemen and roads. You are part of the American epidemic of foolishness that takes for granted all of the things that government does. Unless you think companies selling diseased food and poisonous drugs is a right that should be protected. Unless you think companies forcing workers to work 80 hour weeks while making below the poverty level is a right that should be protected.
You talk about knowing about the lowest common denominator, but don't realize that the government is the one that keeps the lowest common denominator from falling too low.

How does an illegal immigrant voting or driving make you feel unsafe? Not that both of those claims aren't enormous bullshit anyway, but just the principle. Are you that bigoted? Are you that xenophobic? Are you that racist?

What other of your rights is the government infringing? Government regulates business from extorting consumers. How is that a bad thing? You seem pretty smart so I'm hoping that you aren't stupid enough to believe in free market principles or some other farce.

So are you saying there has not been any diseased food and poisonous drugs since the FDA? Do you live under a rock? How about those swine flu shots? If you are going to be making an argument for your side at least be morally and ethically correct.

So why cant a group of a few million united states citizen conservatives vote in all 50 states congress elections? They are the least represented by government and also make up the largest denomination. Are you saying this would be "unfair"?
