the whole religion vs science fact.half believe we are descendants of god and his holyness.

half believe we are on a evolutionary path. (my side but wont nuthug)

now, we can say, evolution is there.

Its the whole process of how it got there. theres evidence, but not enough for a stone-cold one way sentence to state how it works.

I myself love science. but if anyone knows how science people are, we will deny anything unless you have an explanation with evidence for everything supporting your claim

Personally I believe there is no way to deny evolution with the evidence and facts we have already but its still not enough to prove to those who believe in creationism that it is undeniable. Who knows if we'll ever make many people believe evolution happens? I still haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to evolution, I have an evolution class later this semester which should be pretty interesting.

Im curious if we'll ever reach a cap on evolution or cycle backwards

It is funny to see how wrong many people are when they are debating just to be debating...

Perhaps some research would go a long way when trying to figure out what has facts behind it and what does not. Many of you may or would change your answer with even 10 min of research on gravity and evolution. Both have very interesting facts behind them. Evolution is a fact and a law at the same time, but yet it does not apply to all situations. It can be proven with in many species of animals to exist and to have taken place. Gravity is very similar, but it stays constant and there are many formulas which can predict gravity. This is how we know what maximum velocity is before ever dropping something.

With science there is little difference between law, theory, and hypothesis.

I'm a wildlife bio major... genetics is almost endless there is so much stuff to go over. I really wonder about evolution as well, its hard to say when and if we'll ever find what we need

that is exactly why evolution is a theory, there are missing pieces of evidence that prove that it works all the time or can be predicted. And that is exactly why gravity is a law. Yes there is little difference between law and theory, law is just a more definite way... but theory is just that its almost to the point where it is completely definite, on the verge of being labeled a law. Hypothesis in science is actually similar to what people normally think of as theory. Someone comes up with an idea on how something works but it is yet to be tested and still needs the facts to back it.

I never said evolution wasn't fact... a theory in science is fact it just isn't complete... I know evolution happens and no one can convince me otherwise. Saying that there are no formulas that predict gravity accurately is saying that the field of physics is wrong in everything they do or predict, as gravity is the main basis of it.
