you know, sometimes being black SUCKS

^Correct, that is what I meant.

That is true to a point Jmac.

For example, one of my co-workers at work has a ford ranger he threw some 18's on it and some meaty tires. He drove it like that for awhile untill he rotated the tires. The tires showed no rubbing /wear, but the front end was messed up pretty bad. Bent rod's, controll arms f'ed up, ect. Ended up buying a new front end for the thing.

In conclusion I think the weight of the wheel/tire was at fault. Well, its obvious. lol.

All I'm saying is if he throws a bigger wheel on the car there is also a greater chance in messing up the front end of the vehicle. Just because of the greater weight of the wheel. Brakes included.

Though I'm not sure what lemans23 drives.

Negative. Any size rim/tire will work aslong as they are the same diameter of the car. If the wheels are too big, they will rip your front end to shits, and will make your speedo off. Too small, it looks goofy, and will mess ur speedo up. Plus, it changes the whole way a ****** acts, so if you plan on getting something get your ****** re-programmed to handle that wheel or have fun "dropping" some mona on one.

That sucks.. Just be like, hey, douchebag, come look at this and say something intelligent. That sucks to waste money. If the windows are tinted...how do people know youre a young black male??...tell him that.
because all young black males have tinted windows //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Sucks being 16 and having your parents try and control your money. I am assuming that you either have a job or a source of income (selling drugs and making hits on the police?) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
no def my money. only been working since last summer tho and i just got enough cash for system and wheels (been spending on the current stereo project //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif , should be done next weekend)

x2 how can you let your parents tell you what to do with your $, or is it really their money?
my cash through and through. funny shit is, i told him how much i had (2 days b4 incident) and said that "it's good you're saving your money, and since it is yours, you can spend it how you want hahaha" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Sounds like your dad is cracking racist jokes on his own race and being serious about it.
no not jokes, but seriously stereotyping himself.

"dad i'm going out"

"NO YOU'RE NOT!"

"why not?"

"ALL BLACK PEOPLE WITH BLACK CARS ARE GANGBANGERS!"

same logic (lol that didn't happen though)

IMO, if it's your money, you should be able to do whatever you want with it.
I don't understand why the title is "you know, sometimes being black SUCKS" ...

It should be, "you know, sometimes being a teen SUCKS"
no because there isn't anyone on this forum who doesnt or at least can't have a system. he even said that "i know you see those white kids going around but the police will only look at you"

That sucks man. My parents used to be like that untill I got sick of it and went away for a week. Now their a little more understanding. May sound like a dumb thing to do, but if they love you enough it sure as hell will give them a relaity check.

It seems wrong that they are controlling your money, but at the same time it makes sense because they don't want to see you blow it on things. To a parents, buying tint, systems, wheels, acc. for cars is "blowing" money. Put some away for college and see what they do.

i've got 20 bills in my savings //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So is that 20 1$ bills? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. All I'm saying is don't get all pissed when they say no. Being pissed and having an attitude towards them gets you nowhere. I may sound like a f/cking parent, but I just went through the same thing. So I totally see where your coming from.
