You have to read this

I was 3.. we lived in MO at the time..

We had 3 horses at a borders.. but they had worms? I had noticed my brother eating the grain .. but being 3, I didn't know my mom was putting worming medicine in with it this time.. By the time she turned and noticed the molasas and oats on my face, I had eaten about 3 handfulls..

Ever been fed charcoal to purge your stomach? Not FUN //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

(I don't recall the eating, but I sure do remember puking black into a big round tub)

Theres people who are not afraid to try things, Like me and dont think about what will happen. Then theres people who think about what could happen, and dont do it. I was always a crazy kid

(after the worming incident.. about 2 months later)..

So.. here I am sitting on the ground playing with my shovel while my mom is tending the horses.... It was getting warm out and bugs had started comming out..

I have my bucket.. and shovel.. and I'm digging in the dirt (remember, I'm 3-ish)..

This damm horse keeps hitting me in the face with it's tail.. I think "man, this sucks.. why is this horse smacking me?".. SOOOOOOOOOOO.. I get tired of it... (I actually remember this).. So, I decide it's time to let the horse know it should stop hitting me in the face with it's tail.... I smack it in the leg with my shovel

I remember seeing the foot pick up... then I remember my mom crying over me..

Turns out, the horse didn't like getting hit in the leg, so it kicked.... me in the face..

Caught me just above the right eye, on the bone.. but, it ripped the skin open bad, and sent me OVER the 6 ft fence and across the road.. My mom had turned around JUST in time to see me get launched.. she ran across the street and picked me up out of the ditch but couldn't see my face from all the blood.. she thought my face was ripped off..

16 stiches in my eyebrow later and all was good..... well, until I pulled them all out one night caused they itched //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

My father is the epidemy of accidents. He works on semis for a living so accidents occur more often than necessary. Here's a list of ones i can remember

1. Was drilling a hole in a frame of a truck, the drill kicked out, got stuck in his arm, and continued to spin into his arm, wrapping his skin around the drill bit.

2. Was hammering something, raised his arm back to pound the metal, got the hammer stuck in the fender of a truck, forced the hammer out, and proceeded to smash his own hand.

3. Was working with some sharp metal, a heavy piece fell on his hand, cutting 3/4 of his right hand ring finger off.

4. Gave himself a hernia (sp.) trying to move his toolbox. He realized it was heavy, but not that heavy. Actually found out that it weighs over a ton. It takes a forklift to move it.

5. Dislocated his shoulder trying to torque down a wheel bolt on a piece of farm equipment.

6. Hurt his back trying to lift a monster truck tire (around 800 pounds i think) onto an axle of a farm truck.

7. Has had surgery on both hands for carpel-tunnel syndrome.

8. Broken various knuckles by using air rachets. Worthless tool if you ask me.

9. Was cutting a piece of metal when some shrapnel flew off of a metal sheet into his eyeball. Part of his eyeball had to be removed.

10. Dropped so many things on his head i'm surprised he can remember his own name.

11. Broke his arm when a truck fender fell on him.

These are the only ones i can think of right now, i'll ask him sometime and maybe see if i can get a few more out of him.

I got a good one

I was about 12 or 13, and kept asking for a big fish tank. So for xmas, I got a 30 gallon tank, and planned on getting some Oscar's(anyone know what they are? The perhanna's(sp?) little brother, nasty ole set o teeth). But anyway, he was building a shelf- table for the tank with drawers and shit, he's great with building things, built our whole house. And he was cutting wood with the table saw, had a piece on the saw, and it was vibrating and shaking off the table, so he went to grab it and cut off his thumb. Grabbed his thumb, had it wrapped in ice in a napkin, went to the hospital, sewed it back on, came back, and a few weeks later he finished my table.

Stupidest thing I ever did - hrrrm.... anybody remeber those plastic shell thingies that duracell used to distribute with batteries? this was before the tester was on teh battery itself, it was like a mini hand held ytester... anyways, i hav ea 9v battery and one of these... figrured, hell if i rip the tester thingy out and put it ont he terminals of this battery it will work!

fuc|hmm... theres so many more, i cant really think of them all... like the time a chairlift knocked me out... (last year no less), i was getting on teh chairlift, my pole got stuck in front of me the handle hit me in teh chest so i lurched my body up to keep from impaling myself ont eh handle and my friend happened to be bringing downt eh bar at the same time... right ont eh top of my head... jesus that hurt...

same day of skiing, i went off a table, landed a little short, just on teh edge of the ****** and the table, caught an edge trying to keep myself upright, ended up spinning in a circle incredibly fast (i didnt even notice the spinning.... but my buddy did) and landed with my head on teh sno, like af reaking dart....

same day again... 10 foot table... i take it with a bit too much speed, and go waAAAAAY too far... ended up clearing the 10 foot table, teh 12 foot ****** and still going another 5 feet... falling 20 feet onto flat hardpack on skis is NOT fun.... i landed it tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Oh, this one was actually a few months ago. My old roommate fried his guitar amp...so I popped it open, took a look at the motherboard. I was touching something, and he decided to plug it in. I thought I got struck by lightning. I recieved a nice 10 second long shock, the rest of the night I was out in space....

I caught a June Bug in the ear once.. on a bike.. at ~70.. almost pulled me off the bike.. I'd hate to think if it was a head-on hit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

No other horse stories (that I recall)..

but, we have the old.. I was sitting at the dining room table.. drinking a coke (glass bottle mind you.. most of you younguns have never seen that).. I had the bottle by my chest below the edge of the table.. thought I'd be cool (I was 9 I think).. and swing the bottle up fast.. only, at 9 your depth perception isn't that great, and despite the scar on my skull, physics wasn't my forte.. Up comes the bottle.. until it hits the bottom of the table.. but my head was still moving.. 1/2 of my right front tooth ended up in the bottle.. You could actually see the nerve hanging out.. the dentist cringed when he went to fix it.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
