Anyone have a suggestion for a 6.5" component set around the $150-175 range? doesnt have to be incredible midbass, but would like decent sound/midbass mix if possible. Just looking to upgrade my stock speakers. Probably lookin for something that will run well off about 50 watts each. Also, I havent had any experience with any component sets, but I've read alot about "harsh" sounding sets. I think I'd like to stay away from that. any input is appreciated. I only listen to rap music if that helps in suggestions... thanks

if you dont want harshness, look for tweeters not made of a metal, maybe a silk tweet, you willing to do ebay or used?

Yes, ebay or used either one would be fine. Preferably ebay over a forum member, but as long as they're reputable, it's fine by me. And thanks for the info on the tweets, I'll keep that in mind.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Polk Momo 6500's? also,does anyone here own a toyota camry and know how much mounting depth I would have in the stock location? I'm looking into the Crystals, they look nice, but I can only find them for $180+. Depending how much money I get for my b-day and how much I get to work this week, I may shell out $200-225 if that would put me in range for a better set. thanks

I don't know how exactly much space you are going to have with the Camry, but I will bet its not going to be much.

If I remember correctly, I got the exact measurements of the 4 runner's space from crutchfield.
