Yet another sub choice. Limited space .

I had my mind made up that I wanted 2 12" solobaric L7's behind the third row seat in my Expedition. This is the box that "Woodlawn Cabinetry" drew up for me.

The box has 1.75 feet per chamber and is tuned at 40 hz. It's about all the space I have to work with. I don't care about people outside my car being able to hear it I just want to really be able to feel it inside the vehicle. My concern is all the posts I read on here recommending over 3 feet per sub for L7's. Obviously I don't have that and can't get it. Also, I'd rather tune the box at around 35 hz so I don't lose that low bass. I guess what I'm looking for is maybe 2 12's or one 15 that would perform well in a ported box that size. I was going to pay about $400 on ebay for the 2 L7's and would rather not exceed that. I don't have an amp yet so I'll just match it to my subs. I listen mostly to rap but I'm not a teeneager anymore so I don't care if you can hear it for 3 blocks or not. I've looked at 2 12" d6'S OR 1 15" d9 but I don't know if they would work in there or not. I want that bass that you can really feel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How about Kicker CVX 12's sealed, I plan to do three in my tahoe, similar size...

how much power do you have, mybe a eclipse ti, AA arsenal(i'd wait for the new lines though) RE se/sr, mmats p2.5, treo ssi/tsx, DD 2500/3500, just to name a few.

I don't have an amp yet but but I'm looking at under 2000 watts. You think the ones you suggested would work well in that small of a ported box?

using the dimension you have allready, i get 3.4net, and with 2 6inch ports it would be 35hz tune, 56sq area, but the ports would have to be 32inchs long, so they would have to fire out the side, that box would work with most 15's, maybe a re mx, AA havoc, eclipse ti would work to but doesn't need that much power, re xxx(old version), hell even a juggernaut would work, lots of options.
