Why so lil power to the L7. If I recall right they can handle way more than that.

If you go by the math then the Pioneer subs should be the loudest under like conditions

pioneer setup would be loudest, im not sure why your comparing 2-12's with 1000RMS each to one 15 with 1200 RMS, especially considering an L7 isnt the most effeciant speaker around

I've heard a car with 2 of the pioneers and it's some of the best bass I've heard... and felt. But the only other cars I've heard had 3 JL 10w3's in one and 1 15" treo csx in the other.

As far as the L7 Goes, i guess its because im basing my specs off the 2005 model which i heard did NOT like to be stressed, and it was pushing it to run over 1200 to a 15.. and as far as the type R, everyone knows they can handle that amount fine

I have about a $260 doller limit on what ide want to spend for subs and those are all around that range somewhere so it just seemed to work out

The 3004SPLS are $250 a piece, and with dealer markup, its gonna be more around 270-280 a piece.

they're around ebay for $130 shipped... but I don't know what that does for warranty. but between a pair of type-r's versus one of those I would go with the r's.
