I finally got my audiobahn working and now im having problems with my amp i have running to my 5.25s and 6x9s. It was working fine and then it went in to protect. i figured it was just hot and if i gave it time to cool down it would work again which obviously isnt the case because now every time my head unit powers it immediatly goes into protect. im assuming the amp is bad but does anyone think they might have a solution?

one of 2 things.

1 a speakers coil is grounding out

2 the wiring is grounding out

trouble shoot:

take off all speakers from the output side. turn off car. turn car back on. re connect one speaker at a time until you figure out which speaker is grounding your amp. next test the speaker you found thats bad for proper ohms or the wire running to the speaker from the amp. what ever is bad replace it ot leave it disconnected until you can fix it.
