your response wont be flat and it will be insanely loud on your port. it will one huge peak.

but to answer your question about will it work....yes it will and it will be insanely loud.

8 cubes is too big for that sub. i'd run 5 cubes at most. (maybe 6).

Yes, go smaller....the biggest you should go would maybe 5 or so....I think the recommended size is like 3.5 or something......

still too big IMO. go with 5 cubes.

that guy on adires sight the first one (black00) had his 6.6 at 55 Hz, he hit like 152db. why is 5 cubes is that the best for SPL, or going above that would defeat the driver?

So 5 cubes ported at 35Hz is best for the sub

Well he has it tuned to 55hz for Christ's sake....it's obvious he's going for pure SPL.....if you're using it in a daily driver application, stick with 5 cubes at 35 like you planned.....
