It rains... black gets dirty

I live on a busy street, so when cars drive by... black gets dirty

At a car show, unless it's a truck I keep in a garage... black doesn't stand out

Yellow seems to fix all that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Only reason I'm even considering the black is because all of the chrome on the truck... and I just shelled out almost $3 grand for 22/20" billet aluminum rims. Chrome bumper, chrome grille (sort of)...If I had black... I think I'd orgasm at how nice it'd look

You put more money in your Blazer in one purchase than I do in my kids mouth in a year! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Personally I like the black idea, but not a big fan of chrome grills and what not.

Also I have owned to yellow vechichles and if you think Black is harder to keep clean, then have fun finding out you wish you had Black again, lol!

Not so much a chrome grill... my truck isn't over-done. Most people who use chrome accents on their car do their pillars, mirror covers, fender wells, tail light covers... it's fugly.

Here's the chrome bumper with the current rims (they're being replaced with the new ones soon):

So yellow is really just as hard/harder to keep clean?

**** dude, you went from scraping up as whatever money you could trying to get your other car done to dumping a ton of money into this Blazer. Just don't make yourself broke because of cars like I did. Save some cash cause you never know when you may need it.

I know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It's a disease...

I don't have any money for clothes or going out to eat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Do the work yourself if you are worried about the paint costing too much. Body work is really easy, it just takes time. As long as you take your time, taking apart and reassembling a car is cake too. You can take the car apart and get everything jambed then do the body work and get it painted. As long you have another car to drive I don't see how it will be a problem... Of course it also helps to have a friend that is a body guy. I know a guy that's been at a body shop here for 7 years and as long as we do the bodywork on cars he will paint them for free for me. (after he checks the body work of course) See if you can't make friends with a painter. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Explain to me how body work is easy? Yes, it takes time and I am sure if he wants to learn a new trade, then hey go for it, but is not something you just pick up and get it the way you want it.

I say go to someone who knows what they are doing. If you dont have the dough for clothes or eats, I say sell the dam thing. That is just silly! Not sure if you are joking about that.
