I plan on ordering on from summit racing eventually. I use the van to car pool so down time was an issue. Having it rebuilt allowed me to have it done quickly. I wasnt able wait because my alternator died from constant strain. I was using two batterys too but just two duralast

I run that amp and have a 250 amp HO alt (a cheapy one, paid like 250$ for it), big three in 0 gauge, YT under the hood, kinetik 2400 in the back and I don't get any dimming at all unless I sit and bump for several minutes in park.

I figured that summit would be alright. My buddy has a 88 lx with a chrome summit ho alt. He needed it because he switched to an electric power steering. I know that it's apples and oranges but he's doing alright.
