yellow top d34 or kinetic hc 1400

Help me decide in this tight budget guys

Im looking for options, considering there will be only one battery in the car which one will you choose ?? or maybe recommend me another one in the same price range. Also because its the only batt in the car, is the kinetik gonna be more reliable that the yellow top ?? is it gonna last longer ??

any input is greatly appreciated

its a 4runner like the picture says right now im doing around 1400 rms but got 3 more amps, 2 that i wanna put in the car soo its gonna be about 1400 more but my budget does not allow me for anything bigger in the electrical department.

I was also thinking about running a second batt in the back and keep the actual one but i like to have as much free space as possible

I don't think the hc1400 fits in the stock location, go with whichever kinetik or deka batt that fits in your car's stock location

from personal experince I would go with the kenitik and theirs some one selling a 2400 for 210 shipped in this forum. I was in the same situation like you before I tried the optimas because it was a better price but at the end I ended up upgrading to kenitik and a cd batt. If had the chance I woul have just done it right the first time around

i took a look at that kinetik website says 9"x5.3"x8.1" soo it should fit no problem

i should clarify, I think something BIGGER fits those dimensions better. I'm thinking the hc1800 would be a perfect fit for that vehicle. What group number does your SUV take

yes its actually smaller that the stock batt size

You will need a bigger battery than a hc1400. 2800 watts on a stock alt is going to need more capacity.I would do 2 hc1800's, one upfront and one in back.
