yellow or red optima batt

whats the difference on the yellow and red top battery optima i went to get me one but they only had red top they said it was a good one too but i dont know

anyone can tell me what yall think?

red is a starting battery and yellow is more of a car audio battery. Some people still use either but I that is what I was told by a rep.

The yellow top can discharge and recharge to full capacity...If you discharge the redtop it will only recharge to 70% capacity...The yellow top group 31 is the one you need I beieve.....

Red tops die randomly.... that's the difference I've seen.

ive used both. overall the yellow top is better for the car audio application, but the red top is still a decent battery. if ur gonan run over 1.5kw id recommend a yellwo top. but if you've got 1.5kw or less then youll be fine with a red top. the red top wills till do the job better than any average battery, but the yellwo top will do it better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
