I think Chicago is a great city. My experience was very positive. And I did not find the people to be rude in the least.

i love chicago, miss living there. Everyone always treated me very well. My guess is that the people in chicago were dumbfounded that someone with downs had managed to speak in complete sentences and master a southern accent. just a guess.
