How's it sounds?... like the others said looks pretty clean and leaves lots of room //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif nice job.

thanks guys!

yeah, the idea was to leave the middle open for storage.

it sounds pretty good. i opted for this over my old 1 15" fosgate hx2. the response is much tighter and precise, not as sloppy as the 15. however, they dont go as low as the 15, and even it didnt go very low. my friend said they had an Fs of like 33 hz, soo yeah. still sounds really good though.

and yes they are sealed. there are a couple spots inside that arent completely sealed off from each other (ie the 2 subs on each side) but i dont think its a big deal.

Looks great man, great self-install.
Are those sub boxes glassed? They look a bit too boxy for a glass job.

very much glassed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

its just hard to tell because of the black carpet

yeah, i was gonna go with beige/tan, but walmart only had one roll left of that, and 2 rolls of black, plus i was gonna do black in the first place, so i just went with it.

The only thing I would have done differently is try to color match the OEM carpet...that's just a cosmetic choice though. The install is excellent //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Not bad, looks good...I think I would have sanded the edges a bit more, though...the edges of the boxes and some of the carpet looks a bit sloppy. A great start, but I would go back with A roll-out disc for the edges, clean them up, and recarpet to match OEM spec.

go to the fabric store, and get some fleece t hat matches the color of the car. stretch that on them boxes, i bet it will look a hell of alot better.

its not as durable as carpet is, but its stretchy and will look much MUCH better.
