My friend got 2 12" audiobahn,the cheapest kind u can get,they r 400 w rms each,and i think they sound real good for what he paid.I've heard many types of woofers that ppl here consider real good and for the price I would put these up with those woofers.He has 380 wrms going to each sub and it pounds real good and has good SQ.It's in a sealed box.Give me some insight as to why u dont like bahn subs or maybe they just have certain subs that arent good...idk

thats what every1 says but it was hitting the lower bass,higher bass,he was keepin up with kick drums,and it was doing it while being decently loud.

My sub is real good,ive heard mags,w7's,L7's,type r's,type x's,w6's,so i know what a good sub sounds like,ive also heard mofos and dual subs so i know what a bad sub sounds like and these were def. not bad.I'm thinking that the bahns that every1 says sound bad r the subs that they say can handle thousands of watts,ive seen plenty of bad reviews on those but none really on the subs my friend has

well i had them when i was fifteen, and had the pair at 4 ohm mono on a 500 rms amp and they popped in a week.

Eh, they have built up a reputation of low quality gear that is based more on "bling" than anything. This isn't to say they can't sound decent. So long as he is giving them adequate unclipped power, and the install is good, it is quite likely that he'd have no problems with any of it, and sound good while doing so! Keep in mind however, that your definition of sounding good does not necessarily equal the next persons definition of sounding good. I personally would not recommend Audiobahn gear to someone just starting out, but I wouldn't hate on someone just cause thats what they run. I'd hate on them if it sounded like dogshit.
