XXX15 Ported vs. XXX18 Sealed?

I'm ready to upgrade my 05' XXX15 3ft^3 w/ 1200w Amp to either a new XXX15 or XXX18 and upping to a 2000w Amp.

My question is which will be better? Any ideas on how they will compare in terms of SPL and SQ?

I am thinking the XXX15...my 05' the 15" ported seemed to be louder than the 18" I had before (both 05' XXXs).

ported for spl, sealed for sq, given the proper enclosure that is

ill go with ported....it gets way louder than sealed
