XXX, Size debate: 15 or 18 and amps too

Hello,

Looking to update my system, as I no longer have my 15" Brahma (sold to get exhaust/headers/x-pipe).

I will be using RE XXX Subs, sealed box and probably around ~500W RMS.

I like low/deep bass, but don't want it so loud my ears are gonna bleed. Most I will probably see is 500W-600W RMS max. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

So, for the lower extension/more bass, would it be ideal to go with the 18"? I figure since I won't be pushing it to Xmax, the motor should handle the 18" just fine and have the same SQ that the 15" would have. I don't mind spending the $600 on the 18".. so money is of no concern (within reason).

I'll keep the amp aspect out of the equation here, and post my amp related questions in the proper section.

18 i think that's too big... i dunno.. depends on your car... i even think 15 is too big for regular cars, but that's my opinion... if you're serious about getting rexxx and an amp, go to http://www.RDMobileelect.com tell them the passcode "RDGROUP5" and they'll give you a discount... the 15 rexxx should goes for nomore than 380-400. i got my 12's for 335 each.. and as for the amp, if you're getting RE sub, then i suggest stick with RE amp..

jjoven will that passcode work for a 10" too, what is that exactly? have you delt with redmobileelectronics before???????are they authorized?

yes that passcode is for everything they sell... yes i've dealt with them before.. they are authorize dealer so you get the manufacturer warranty... i known the owner because me and my friends bought alot of shit from them "groupbuy" and also sponsored by them.. just mention that passcode and they'll give you a discount... and as for the subs, i just bought new ones.. im just too lazy to change my sig..

really?? oh well... IDMAX from rdmobileelect cost 300 flat, and other sites selles it for around 400, so i thought i was getting a good deal.. i haven't seen any other websites that sells RE stuff besides the respl.com that's why i just order them there at rdmobileelect.. but oh well.. they're good service tho.. fast shipping!

The REXXX will be going in a hatchback... 90 Ford Mustang GTOBRA to be exact. I'm starting to lean more torwards the 15" sub.. requires 1 cu.ft. less than the 18"!
