I know quite a few of you own/did own them.....

Keep em. I find them hard to part with.

I may even use them when I decide to run 3-way.

i like them. i got them purely for the xmax wow factor, and the fact that i am able to mount them infinite baffle in my truck. if i had to give them up, then i'd go for the new 4 ohm extremis, or a koda 6.

I have a set that I have to sell. If I wasn't in need of the cash so badly, I'd keep them.

I have AA mids in my truck now, but that was just temporary to get the idea of where I wanted my XOVER points for my Home Stereo Mains...

Quick comparison of the AA's and the XXX's?

I like the XXX's b/c they offer more midbass, don't have the tinsel slap problem, can take plenty of power. They go lower than the AA's w/o problems... I usually keep them at 80hz @18dB/oct... sometimes even 63hz

The AA's I have to take up to 100hz @18dB/oct, but they DO extend higher... WAY higher. Obviously, this allows for a cleaner top end. Also, the AA's a pretty **** efficient.

I'm putting the XXX6.5's back in tho... b/c I lub them.
