XXX mids in a 3 way active setup...

.....two thumbs up. They're a little bit under powered, seeing an underrated 100w each, but still wang in thier pods. I'm definitly impressed with thier output and clarity, they also get waaay lower than any other 6.5 I've used. The 60hz-80hz range plays with much more authority, and the 100hz-150hz range is just silly nice. I'm still playing around with thier bandpass freq cuts. I have them around 50hz to 280hz ish. Best midbass output Ive used to date. I've heard mixed reviews about them in a typical door installs. I can tell you pods are the way to go.

so far ive tried lpf 24db/240hz and hpf 12db/50hz.....and pretty much vice versa.....lpf 12db/220hz and hpf 24db/50hz....i think I like the second choice so far, but I still have some EQ tweaking and testign to do. Going active is like having an extra part time job.
