XXX in fiberglass...need to reinforce?

As you guys know, a XXX weighs around 55lbs. Im wondering if I need to do anything special around the sub ring where the sub will be mounted. Do I need to put extra layers around the sub ring to strengthen say 2inches around the ring all around?

Make the enclosure big enough that you can use fiberglass to reinforce the INSIDE of the enclosure NOT the outside. It makes it SOOOO much easier when it comes time to sand //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Also, just sufficiently re-inforce on all areas...and you may want to duoble up the baffle ring. That should be sufficient.
