Maybe so something doesnt hit it and ruin a $365+ sub.

You could build a grille, but it would have to be spaced out far enough so that it wont hit it, even when its strokin at over 32mm

I've been tyin to come up with somethin for mine....might machine somethin outa aluminum.

yeah there is no manufactured grill that would fit a XXX, have you ever seen the movement on those things?? Your best bet would be to just make one on your own. But as far as something falling on your sub and ruining it, that sub can take quite a bit of abuse... not that i recommend you give it to it
