yeah, I was thinking Alpine. I was wondering if there was a way to wire up a DVD player to also be your GPS. I thought that I once heard of something like a DVD that you put into the player and it was a GPS system, I just do not know.

props to u for standing up for urself. dont listen to them their just jealous because they never had wealthy parents who gave them anything, so they spend their time on the forums bashing people who get stuff paid for them. I mean honestly guys what kid would reject their parent buying them something like a sound system. so dont hate.

yeah you're so sweet. Be in that kid's position, and turn down that kind of a deal. You would be getting shit from your friends and other people like you for not taking the money... You are mad because you are one of those people. Look at you driving a bimmer... obviously you didnt pay for it. And for accepting a stereo like that from my parents... I wouldnt take it. I simply cannot take a present like that without knowing i worked for it in some way. Id just feel to guilty because im not some spoiled *** punk. actually, if he had the space for it and the electrical system why not? he would have a loud *** system by anyones standards, also, why dont you do some research before you say shit about amps you dont know about. it would only take one of those amps to push one of those subs. 2 x 2400 RMS @ 1ohm. and you can get an a2300hct and a solo x on ebay for a grand total

You must be pretty insecure to sit there and trash a kid that is in high school -and most importantly someone that you have never met!- who is simply taking advantage of something his dad is giving him. After all, the 6 years of college did pay off. I can not actually go do work for my dad, not that position, but I will be sure and NOT think of you when I am sitting on my fortune made by me. Thanks to the people who are decent and did NOT trash me on my thread, your advice has been helpful.

And no, I do not drive an escalade, I drive a 1998 f-150. The system is going into a Range Rover. Oh by the way, the Range Rover is my dads that he no longer wants... but good call on the escalade though, it made you sound like someone with an amazing IQ... like 12.

well... I would like to bank that much But my dad is paying, and to get the 6000, all of it has to go into the ...vehicle. Does that change anything? Also, anyone know of what would be a good HU, a good DVD player, and a good GPS system, I would want all that to be in the dash pretty much.

Yeah in that case i woul d go with a good indash DVD player i would still stay with one 12 or 15XXX (if it were me) i would also go with the Bx 1500 still (but any amp of that size or bigger would be good) I would pic up some CDT Euro sport 3 way comps from www.thezeb.com and get a zapco 150ish x 2 wrms amp to power them some CDT coaxils if you want some rear fill (you can run these from the HU) maybe some head rest LCD screens. A fiberglass box for the XXX (you know all tucked in the RR somewhere snazy like and paineted to match. then you could put the remainder into some wheels adn maybe a new alt if you need one etc etc....
