Well your not too old to know that there is no such thing as a "break in" period.
I know it lol, I guess its just the fact that its not necessary and its just a waste of time. If you feel better doing it then go right ahead and do it though.I don't understand how people argue about this. Does it hurt the sub in any way to play it at low volumes?hmmmmmmmmmmm. If the person wants to do it then let them do it, it does not hurt the sub in any way to play it at low volumes.
/end rant
Right now I have 1300+ going to it with a Zapco 6.0 bridged mono. Underpowered maybe but I'm curious to find out what the amp is actually putting out cuz the sub is MOVIN'.Looks good! How many watts pushing it?
louder as it breaks in? not true of the L7's (only ones i know of anyways)...they were actually louder brand new than they were used. only by like .1-.3 of a db but still, louder.you dont need magnet bracing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
If the basket cannot withstand the weight of the motor then it is a poorly designed driver.
Other than that it looks nice...but try an Ava 18 and 7.5cuft enclosure double 0.75 baffle and lots of bracing??? heavy? like having a 200+lb fat man lying in the back.

oh and wnag away...break in period is a myth. It will get louder as it breaks in...has nothing to do with the thermal or mechanical limits.
woudn't magnet bracing take strain off the baffle?you dont need magnet bracing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I can and I ship UPS and UPS freight.i need someone to make me a box as good lookin as that !!!!!
yes, but nothing to do with basket/driveryes, but a properly braced/thickness baffle doesnt need any help.
