xxx box help

I don't have one yet, but I was thinking of getting an XXX 12 and amping it appropriately.

I would make a sealed box, but what size of board would be the best?

Is mdf the main material for boxes, that's what i've always used.

Does it need to be thicker or layered for a more powerful sub such as an xxx compared to a 200w sub?

That's all I needed to know, i've done that before but double baffle sounded like it would be something else.
