this amp was about .5db louder than my 2500d, i really wish I could find two I was told by someone running 8 of them in his SS 1-2 ride with plenty of batteries and juice to back them up that he got a bit less than 9k per strapped pair... on 18v. and about 40 batteries.

are you refering to Rooney with regards to the SS 1-2 vehicle?

I assume thats who it is.. or I could be wrong...lol

well on amp guts on realmofexcursion they claim:Output Power at 1% THD+N:

1 x 1697W @ 4 ohm (13.5V)

1 x 1750W @ 4 ohm (14.4V)

1 x 2905W @ 2 ohm (13.5V)

1 x 3290W @ 2 ohm (14.4V)

1 x 4082W @ 1 ohm (13.5V)

1 x 4490W @ 1 ohm (14.4V)

Im needing over 4kw, not looking at the amp for 6500watts, i know thats never gunna happen!!

the MAX Sonic is dirty power for comparison...one z1a at .5 did as much as 4 MA 4000Ds at 2ohm each...in my Explorer I did a 154 with both setups...with the mA's I had 2 Batcap 8400 12v's and two Odyssey 2150's with the Z1a I cut the batteries in half...I had 4 runs of 1/0 250a alt and a batcap 2000 under the hood...i was .2 louder with the Z1a and it was the only system that broke a 150 that sat on the floor demoing for the whole show...it was a true street beat box not a fart box ...I ran 4 DD 9510's

those MX's did nothing for me, just like they did nothing for the person who owned them before me.

but it was Roo from 420, I know Bob had 9 or 18 SS10k's in his van, i'm going to try a 10k when he gets a few back from repair... if it does better than my two 2500d's (or better enough than just one) i'll sell off the 2500d's

fwiw i got more out of one of my 2500d's than an MA4000d that I had to play with, so in my testing

6500 > 2500 > 4000
