XXX 15' Soundstream

Where can I find one cheap. I want to dump the T5-12 for the XXX 15 or I might consider other Soundstream subs..

My goal is to get some seriouse spl out of them. The T5's dont seem to get past 135.7 in my set up.

How much power do you have? The T5 should easily break 135 in any decent setup.

x2..The T5 is a all out musical sub as the Fs is really low, but you should be able to do higher than a 135.7 with a little tuning and hard work.

What amp/box do you have on it? You can gain dB's just changing box parameters and tuning, without spending money on more subs, unless you just want to.

I have a PS1-3000D power acustik. but I think I dont have enought air space. the box had to be cut down from 4.5 cubes at 34hz with 150 sqport to 3.25 cubes because I couldnt get the box in the trunk. We had to set in the back seat , but I wasnt going to leave it there. I must say after I cut it down, I never heard them that loud since.

with 2 xxx 15's would get you 150...i seen a video of a guy running 2 of these with hifonics amps...and that thing did a 152.3..in a SUV..he had it walled though.

You had a 12" in 4.5 cubes? While I know nothing of the T5, I'd think 2.5 cubes would be better. Also a better amp might help out, as well as electrical upgrades.

stick with the t5 or try the spl-x models..

my 2 cents, the XXX is big but for daily.. what you have is just fine.. get a better amp.

i tested 1 out with a POS box i built in 20 min, 1 HC2400, at most 2000 watts and it was hitting close to 149's

I would have to try to get back to orignal box spec and redesign it. and no... I am strapped for cash too.

The spec show between 2 cubes 2.5 or 3 cubes per sub for ported applications. so I went with the 2.25 per sub =4.5 cube with tunning close to the FS and that chit hit!!! but I wouldnt fit in trunk.

Yea, might be to extreme, but I do want to be VERY loud and clean sq. I am keeping options open right now.

you want to get rid of the t5 cause it was too small of a box but you want to get a XXX that needs like 2 times the space?
