If I had this 15 I would do a different approach and build the box in the trunk and do my best to give it 4 cubes ported to 34 or so... but the more I think about it, I probly should stick with 12's and just work with that. I wish they had xxx 12's. I am just trying to get an idea of things.you want to get rid of the t5 cause it was too small of a box but you want to get a XXX that needs like 2 times the space?

I am considering that. In fact I was going to do custom corner boxes with amp rack under the rear deck. As for the amp, I would love to have a XXX amp but those cost too much right now. I could get another PS1-3000D and bridge them for about 3000 rms... maybe. but I dont know if they are over rated or what. whats your experience with this amp... anybody?well you said you had to cut it down,but you also said you want a XXX but it needs more airspace then the t5.
why not make the box bigger and upgrade your amp.
or you could even fiberglass an enclosure for it and spread it out against the back seat to try and gain airspace.
