I've barely heard anything about xtant, besides something along the lines of mtx buying the xtant name and putting it to shame? Are the older xtant amps really solid amps like I've heard?

Hell of an amp, There are 2 versions of this one, the 1 ohm stable and the 2 ohm stable.

Yes any Xtant amp made before Mitek is a very good SQ piece.
