XS power is the sh*t

I'd just like to say that XS power batteries are great and I would buy them again. I have a D3100 and I left my car sit for a month with all my amps hooked up. When I went to start it, the lights on gauges didn't even light up. The needles moved, and that was it. The starter didn't even attempt to crank.

I used a DMM to check voltage and it read 5.36v. I started freaking out, because the battery was so expensive and I thought I ruined it

Put a boost pack on it and it started. I let it run for a little bit, and now its fine!

I think @NoLoud4U; had a similar experience with an XS battery that had a low voltage

Every car has some sort of parasitic drain or else it wouldn't remember anything, mileage, clock, ECU, immobilizer and radio codes to name a few.
im aware of that. My point was a month isnt that long //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I meant no offense, and op is right. xs is a GREAT battery

Mine died from running the alarm and my wife not driving just starting the car. With my bypass it would charge low till you tapped the gas.
that makes sense!

The bigger question, to me, at least is- why did it go dead after a month? My jeep routinely sits a month with all hooked up, and it fires right up.. Xs are great batteries, it's not at all their fault, but do you maybe have a parasitic drain?
Yes, One of my three amps draws a bit while turned off. Pretty sure its the Banda, but may be the Sundown.

My amps are smaller than yours output wise, and I'm sure draw less, is the case maybe I have less of a constant draw than you and that's why it sits longer?
Might be. I had no problem before I hooked up the new amps.

My car is old. It has an analog odometer (I actually ran it for a while without the odometer or ANY gauges). ECU isn't culprit because I my car sat for 6 months before I hoked up the amps. It started up fine after sitting that long.
