my stock alternator is 110a.going to be getting a xs d5100 under the hood and will be running around 1400 total rms watts.1250 of that will be @ 1ohm .my question is,will the alternator keep that battery charged or not ? big 3 is done. and will i still need to use my reikken e1000 2nd batt that i have now ?.appreciate any advice.

must be a dumbazz question.sorry.1st time in doing upgraded electrical.do i really need a HO alt for this little power ?
