yes, actually, i still have my first gen l-7 15's that metered 141.x @ 25, if i remember correctly, back in '01, or '02.....off my soundstream reference 1000sx on "big3".......anyways, it was unheard-of at the time.... i would say quality has gone down with new cone design, but even newer ones can still get with it in their class.... oh, yah gen 1 l-7 8's @ 122.x sealed wedge... the year after

I remember the first year L7s came out and they killed the SPL world. Breaking records left and right. What is funny, is that the new ones, do still hang in there and can be just as loud.

I used a set of L712s D2 on a Clif Designs CDX-20A in a geo storm in 0-600 stock doing 153s all day long with stock electrical. haha
