I'm in Ur F0rumZ
So I have everything together and installed, but now I need to tune. I know how to set gains, and use the JL tutorial. I read Jmacs thread but still have some Q's to make sure I don't hurt my sub.
The FS = lowest possible safe frequency the sub can play at rated power? The Xenon is 26.75, so I would X-over at 30?
Anyways, I recently purchased a Xenon 600.1 that PG confirmed is rated at 821 watts before 1% distortion at 14.3v. My car at warmest averages a 14.0 voltage. (sqrt[600*1]) = 24.5 volts, assuming I want maximum possible power to hit this sub be 600 watts. I would make sure that the components reach their max desired volume at the same max voltage setting as the mono-amp?
Such as, I make the sub hit 24.5volts (DMM) at volume 45 on the deck, so I would make my components hit their respective voltage at the same volume setting.
All I need is 60 Hz and 1k Hz test tones, right?
Just making sure I have this right, it sounds right in my head //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
